Robyn K S Bio:
Robyn K S (she/her/they/them) is a Queer, Punjabi-Canadian spoken word poet based in what is colonially known as Hamilton, Ontario. She is currently enrolled at McMaster University, where she pretends to know what she wants to do with her life. She is the Burlington Slam Project’s 2018 Grand Slam Champion, and their 2018 Women of the World Poetry Slam representative. Robyn is the 2018 Voices of Today Underground Indies Champion. She is also the 2018 National Poetry Slam Rookie of the Year.

Robyn has also self-published her first chapbook titled “My Grandmother’sRivers” where she writes about her Indian and British heritage, and her relation to her faith and culture, and how that effects the way she moves through the world. She has performed on national and international stages. When she is not competing or performing, she is volunteering within the art community. She is a part of the 2018/2019 Voices of Today festival organizing committee. She is trying to live her best life always. You can find Robyn slithering through thrift store aisles and at any open mic near you. Or on Facebook, Instagram as well as Twitter @Robyn_Sidhu.
